Cookie Policy

How we use cookies and similar technologies.

Last updated: July 13, 2026

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the owners of the site. Squadora uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage, and IndexedDB) to operate the Service, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. This Cookie Policy explains what we store, why, and how you can manage it.

Essential Cookies and Storage

These are strictly necessary for the Service to function and cannot be switched off: - Authentication tokens: Keep you signed in across pages and sessions. Managed by Firebase Authentication and stored in your browser's local storage (or IndexedDB in the mobile app). - Cookie consent choice: Stores whether you accepted or declined analytics so we do not ask you repeatedly. - Theme preference: Stores your light/dark mode choice. Blocking or clearing these will sign you out and reset your preferences, and may prevent the Service from functioning properly.

Functional Storage

Functional storage enables enhanced functionality and personalization: - Offline cache: Firestore uses IndexedDB to cache your club data locally for offline support and faster load times. - Convenience data: Recent searches, recent and favorite foods, unread-message markers, and similar in-app conveniences are stored locally on your device. - AI assistant history: Your recent AI assistant conversation is stored locally in your browser so it survives a page reload. If you clear this storage, these features simply start fresh; nothing breaks permanently.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the Service is used. It collects usage events such as page views, sign-ups, and key feature milestones, along with general device information. When you are signed in, analytics events are associated with your account's user ID so we can understand real usage flows. We use this data only to improve the Service. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not track you across third-party websites. Analytics runs only if you allow it. When you first visit, the cookie banner asks for your choice, and nothing is collected unless you accept. You can change your choice at any time in the Managing Your Preferences section below. Analytics is also automatically disabled for automated test traffic and internal test accounts so the data reflects real users.

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies and requests come from third-party services we use on our pages: - Stripe: When you make a payment, Stripe may set cookies for fraud detection and payment processing, governed by Stripe's own privacy policy. - Google Sign-In: If you sign in with Google, Google's sign-in service is loaded and may set cookies governed by Google's privacy policy. - Google Fonts: We load fonts from Google's content delivery network, which receives your IP address as part of serving the font files. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not participate in ad networks or sell data to advertisers.

Managing Your Preferences

You can change your analytics choice for this browser at any time using the buttons below. Your choice takes effect immediately and is remembered on this device.
No choice made yet - analytics stays off until you allow it.

Browser Controls

You can also manage cookies and site data through your browser: - Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies - Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies - Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Cookies - Edge: Settings > Privacy > Cookies Clearing site data for squadora.com removes all locally stored information, including your sign-in and your cookie choice. Blocking essential storage will prevent you from staying signed in.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our practices. We will post any changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For questions about our use of cookies, contact us at support@squadora.com.
